League Host HQ User Policy

Effective Date: 5/22/2026

League Host HQ is a software application owned and operated by Back 9 Tournament Solutions, a Link’s Golf Shack company (“Back 9,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

By accessing or using League Host HQ (“Software” or “Service”), you (“User,” “Customer,” “League Organizer,” “Commissioner,” or “Participant”) agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Ownership of Software

League Host HQ, including all software, features, designs, branding, content, code, graphics, league management tools, scoring systems, statistics, and functionality, is the exclusive property of Back 9 Tournament Solutions and/or its licensors.

Use of the Software does not grant ownership rights to any user.

2. Permitted Use

Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use League Host HQ solely for lawful golf league management, scoring, scheduling, standings, communication, and related league operations associated with purchased Back 9 services or packages.

3. Prohibited Activities

Users may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, or resell any portion of the Software
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract source code
  • Share login credentials with unauthorized individuals
  • Use the Software for unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, abusive, or inappropriate purposes
  • Upload or distribute viruses, malware, or malicious code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data
  • Use the platform in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the Service
  • Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
  • Enter prohibited sensitive personal or financial information into unsecured portions of the platform

4. User Content & Responsibility

Users are responsible for all information, content, league data, player information, sponsor information, schedules, scores, statistics, messages, and materials uploaded or submitted through League Host HQ.

Users agree not to upload or distribute content that is:

  • Illegal
  • Fraudulent
  • Offensive
  • Harassing
  • Defamatory
  • Discriminatory
  • Infringing upon intellectual property rights
  • Otherwise inappropriate or harmful

Back 9 reserves the right to remove content or suspend access for violations of this policy.

5. Financial & Sensitive Information Restrictions

League Host HQ is not intended for the storage of highly sensitive financial or personal identification information.

Users and league organizers must not enter or upload:

  • Credit card numbers
  • Debit card numbers
  • Bank account information
  • Social Security numbers
  • Driver’s license numbers
  • Tax identification numbers
  • Financial account credentials
  • Other confidential personal identification data

Any league-related payments or fundraising activities are intended to be processed only through approved third-party payment or registration services when utilized.

Back 9 Tournament Solutions is not responsible for sensitive information improperly entered into unauthorized portions of the platform.

6. Account Security

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for all activity occurring under their account.

Users must notify Back 9 immediately of any unauthorized use, suspected compromise, or security breach involving their account.

7. Service Availability

While Back 9 strives to provide reliable and uninterrupted service, we do not guarantee that League Host HQ will always operate without interruption, delay, or error.

Features, functionality, availability, or services may be modified, updated, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice.

8. Data Retention & Deletion

League and participant data may be retained only as long as necessary to provide the Service.

Unless a customer purchases or maintains ongoing storage or recurring league services, league-related information may be permanently deleted following completion of the league season and conclusion of services.

Back 9 is not responsible for data loss after retention periods expire.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Back 9 Tournament Solutions and Link’s Golf Shack shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to use of the Software.

Use of the Service is at the user’s own risk.

10. Termination

Back 9 reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate access to League Host HQ at any time for violations of this policy, misuse of the Service, suspected fraudulent activity, or conduct deemed harmful to the platform or other users.

11. Changes to This Policy

Back 9 reserves the right to update or modify this User Policy at any time. Continued use of the Software after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
